How to Become a Volunteer
Since 1912, volunteers and staff
working together have served more than 50 million girls in the
United States. How? Who can resist the fun of Girl Scouting? By
volunteering you can meet new friends, be a mentor, acquire new
skills, gain professional development opportunities through free
training, give back to your community and help the Girl Scouts - Diamonds of Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas develop girls into strong, self-assured women
through a dynamic program which emphasizes character, community
service, leadership and respect for others.
What do you need to do to become
a volunteer?
- Mail or fax a completed
volunteer application to Girl Scouts - Diamonds of Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas.

registered. Annual dues for the membership year are $10
and are in effect for all annual members registering for the
upcoming year regardless of when they register.
- Receive adult training. Our
council provides support through free basic training for all
volunteers at many different sites.
Once your application is received
and processed, you will be contacted by staff person or a
volunteer community representative for volunteer placement and registration fee
payment instructions.
Girl Scouting is open to all
girls and adults regardless of ability to pay. When necessary,
Girl Scouts - Diamonds of Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas provides financial assistance to
registered girl or adult members.
